Before beginning our search for Scottish strongholds, we heard that sometimes Atlantic salmon could be seen running the River of Shinn...
...and that June-July was the best time to see them.
Unfortunately, the only salmon we saw were of this mosaic variety.
Nadia did discover some really pretty flowers, however!
And these three were amused by this totem-pole-ish carved tree.
Then we were off, on a trajectory for the promised castle.
