People often ask how they can pray for us... when I read this today, I had to share it here because it is a very real way that you can pray for our family and probably for many other missionaries. One of the reasons why we did not want to extend our year of home assignment beyond a year is because each day that we are home makes it harder to want to go back. Life in America, with its conveniences... its privileges... its opportunities... its advantages... its blinders that make it possible to ignore the less fortunate elsewhere...

I echo Jamie Jo in these thoughts: "My prayer is that I will not succumb to worshiping the blessings instead of the Savior who blesses me with every good and perfect gift."
