Brendan has been surprised and a bit overwhelmed at times by the amount of homework he is required to do... but so far, he's been quite the trooper, not only keeping up with his homework, but playing soccer and working a part-time job while traveling to churches every weekend. I think he'd agree that "Life in America" is much busier than life in Niger!
